As first-time home buyers coming from the Bay Area, my husband and I were used to bidding wars, all cash offers, and constant heartache/disappointment/frustration. From day one, he was completely transparent and straightforward, and at no point did we ever feel pressured, or that he was just trying to make a quick sale to some desperate, priced-out Californians. We flew up for a long weekend and he worked his butt off to show us multiple listings over a fairly broad area, and when we were prepared to write up an offer, he took care of it that night and we flew home happily in escrow. From start to finish, he was kind, warm, genuine, and he LISTENED to what we wanted to see/explore. As it turned out, what we *thought* we wanted and what we ended up buying were actually pretty different, but without his help, we wouldn't be enjoying our new home today. We would recommend him to ANYONE looking to buy a home in the Seattle area, but I really think he has a knack for working with anxious/clueless first-time home buyers since he's got outstanding communication skills and an exceptional work ethic.
